#42 ~ Warning: Long-ish BSG Post

Due mostly to my unemployment status, I got to play BSG twice this week, an average of 6 hours per game. Let me put it in perspective for you. If you're the type of person who buys lottery tickets, that's like winning twice this week. If you're a single guy (or a married man), it's like scoring. Twice. With the same woman or not, doesn't matter. If you're a kid, it's like having a birthday party and getting awesome gifts, twice in one week. If you're a girly girl, it's like having a shopping budget and discovering the things you wanted to buy were 50% off. Twice. You get my drift.

This is where most of the action happens. If you happen to be in this restaurant, and you haven't seen all 4 seasons of BSG, do not, DO NOT open the drawers of their tables, because you will, I repeat, YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINT. Let's just say one of those drawers contain major spoilers. It's our own version of geo-caching.

You know what happens when you and only one other friend in the group is obsessed with BSG, and you and this friend happen to be obnoxious about it? Your other friends [aka civilians] at some point begin to either watch the show, or play the board game with you, or at the very least, learn (and use!) the context of terms like "brig",  "viper", "raptor", "fleet jump", and "Baltar".

I love this game. So much betrayal. In space.

We have slowly but deliberately been crossing BSG with real life. The Pact of Thirty-Three is just one of the many ways we have done this. Wanna know what the pact is about? Easy. Just watch the show, and then contact me if you live in Jeddah. Do it.

And now, here is the BSG video of the week. Warning: Jizzing might occur. A change of pants is strongly recommended.

Comments

  1. There isn't enough BSG In this BSG. I demand moar BSG in my BSG so I can have BSG while I'm BSGing.

  2. This is a reasonable demand, and therefore, it shall be done.
