#60 ~ I See You..
We see people, and we take pictures of them. We don't realize it, but sometimes, they see us right back.
It hasn't been easy trying to take at least one photo a day. Jeddah is probably one of the most difficult places to take pictures in. Cameras are majorly frowned upon: most of the time, when people see you with one, they look at you warily, as if you were going to attack them.
I suppose it's like attacking. When you take pictures and post them on the internet. I remember when I first got so into the internet, my parents would warn me: "Be careful, people take pictures of girls like you and cut out your faces to paste them on to naked bodies. Scandalous."
Speaking of pictures, remember when I posted a while back about how sad I was that I would be giving up my Nikon?
I didn't go through with it after all. My camera's still with me. Sometimes, it is when you make peace with something and accept that you will have to let it go, it comes back and stays. There's no way of knowing if this would be good or bad for me. But that's alright. Life is, after all, not about the past, or the future, it's about the present. Right now.
Have you ever let go of anything that came back?
