#264 ~ Indiscriminate Reading

Here's a small part of my bookshelf.

I mostly practice indiscriminate reading. I don't have a favorite author, or a favorite book, and I don't go for a specific genre. A book is like a person, isn't it? It needs to be given a chance to prove itself, whatever its appearance, or the reviews on it, or what other people may have said about it.

Of course, as a result of being book open-minded, you will come across books that leave a bad taste in your mouth, horrible books, ugly, ugly books, extremely unfunny books.

But also, every once in a while, you come across a book that completely surprises you, that makes a good difference in your life.

Just like people.

So I CHALLANGE you, good readers. Give a book a chance. Practice indiscriminate reading, and tell me what you find.

Also, add me on Goodreads

  2. LOL! Well, try this: go to a bookstore, find a book that looks pretty, then read it! Judge a book by its cover. For now.
