Not Jeddah.

The difference between Jeddah and Not Jeddah is never more apparent than when you find yourself home alone in Jeddah.

If I were suddenly home alone in Not Jeddah, I would not have been posting a blog entry. I would, instead, have been suddenly Not Home Alone, or Not Home at all.

Home alone in Jeddah, however, I find myself Not Gallivanting On The Streets In Mayhem Fashion, and Not Not Posting A Blog Entry.

It's pretty difficult to be Not Home in Jeddah, see. There's the issue of Not Having Transportation, there's also the Not Having Anywhere To Go To But Cafes and Restaurants, which leads to more problems when the issue of Not Having Much Money is present. You might also have problems when your friends aren't able to be Not Home themselves.

When you're Not Home in Not Jeddah, you can't Not Take A Walk, or Not Play Some Kind Of Sport, or Not Go For Drinks, or Not Meet New People.

When you find yourself home alone in Jeddah, perhaps the most excitement you will get is with Double Negatives.

And if you're the type who likes to push the envelope, you Double Negate that Double Negative.

And then perhaps zero yourself out in the process.

    see i don't live in jeddah ,but when i go to jeddah, it doesn't matter for me if the house was empty or full ,going out or stay at home . i am just happy that i am here.

    come, come to my house in Jeddah when I'm there and then we don't have to be in abayas and cafes and money won't be an issue if not being in abaya and cafes isn't an issue for you. we can stay all day. until you tire of me and my cards and relentless staring. wanna wanna wanna?

It's tough when the over-analyzing kicks in; it's all downhill from there. Good thing I've found a temporary cure. Ass pastries from the House of Donuts near our house. (Taken today!) While I'm not an Apple person, I've always liked the minimalist look. I also like white. So yes, every time I pass by an iZone shop, I always go in and have myself a nice look at all that beautiful [overpriced] 'simplicity'. I've been tempted many, many times to get sucked in to that whole Mac business, but I seriously doubt it's for me. After all, I am neither hip nor much of a computer/graphics person. I'm happy with my little (almost) 4-year-old classic iPod prompting me to check out that sub-culture every now and then. For now. Unless someone really convinces me. Or takes me on a shopping spree. Whatever comes first. So today, I made my first iTunes purchase. I sat for about a couple hours shopping for music, looking for stuff that I'd really spend money on. Freedom of Trash-Talk.

So there's this guy on my Facebook friend list who's really annoying. Classic fuckface behaviour. He makes uneducated hypotheses, calls everyone stupid (except himself, it's hilarious if it weren't so annoying), and makes all these really fucking stupid generalizations and arguments. Very offensive guy. All of this on Facebook status updates. I know, I can just easily delete him, and move on and stop complaining about how offensive (and stupid) he is. It would save me from seeing all his comments and just shut him up. He can exist somewhere else beyond my hearing (or my feed). But then what about Freedom of Speech? Does he not have the right to voice his own opinions, just as I fiercely defend mine? Would I not be stepping on his rights or freedom by deleting him, shutting him up?
